FUNDSCRIP PROGRAM
Fundscrip is a gigantic fund raising program where you can purchase 'gift cards' that can be used to buy groceries at almost any grocery store, as well as a huge variety of items including restaurants, gas, hardware, drugs, clothing, etc. Please call Laurie Linington (519-653-0970) for more information. Laurie is mailing all new families information about how to join the Fundscrip program. -
RECORDINGS
The choir has several recordings for sale. Association members (parents) get 50% credit for all sales of choir recordings. Recordings available include: "Christmas Favourites", "The Lord's Prayer", "Canada: Our Home", and "And The Angels Sing". If you are interested in purchasing any of these recordings see Laurie Linington or call her at 519-634-8396. -
ZEHRS TAPES
Everyone is reminded that they can bring in their Zehrs tapes to a rehearsal. Laurie Linington will collect them and be sure Paula Obermeyer gets them. Thanks to Paula for her kindness in taking charge of the tapes. The proceeds from the Zehrs tapes go to the general fund for the choir unless you send in $45,000.00 or more worth of tapes. If you want individual credit for tapes for your account, you must save up $45,000.00 or more of tapes, count them, bundle them with elastics with the addition tape. Marjorie McDonald, our Business Manager, credits your account with the proper amount (i.e. you get $1.00 credit for every $450.00 worth of Zehrs tapes). Otherwise, the moneys earned from Zehrs tapes will go towards the choir's general expenses. We thank Paula Obermeyer for being in charge of the Zehr's tapes. -
ANNUAL FEBRUARY SINGATHON
February 25, 2012, 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Traditionally, the annual Singathon is our largest fundraiser each year. One year we made over $10,000.00 at this event. Boys get sponsors for themselves and sing from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Receipts are issued for donations of $10.00 or more. We will be e-mailing the sponsor sheets very soon, or you can download a printable copy here. Please be sure that you get as many sponsors as possible, as this will be an excellent way to raise funds for our tour to Ottawa and to even build up credits for the future. Lunch of pizza, pop, and dessert will be provided. Be sure you bring your sponsor sheets with you to the Singathon, as we need to make copies that day. Our social committee will be providing lunch and will also be helping with copying the sponsor sheets. Please be sure your sponsor sheets are neat, so they can be copied.
